MQ-5 Sensor Introduction:
The MQ-5 gas sensor uses tin dioxide (SnO2), a gas-sensitive material with low conductivity in clean air. When combustible gases are present in the sensor's environment, the sensor's conductivity increases with the concentration of the combustible gas in the air. A simple circuit can convert this conductivity change into an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration. The MQ-5 gas sensor has high sensitivity to butane, propane, and methane. This sensor can detect a variety of combustible gases, especially natural gas, making it a low-cost sensor suitable for a wide range of applications.
Module Applications: Suitable for home or industrial monitoring of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), natural gas, and coal gas. Excellent resistance to interference from ethanol and smoke.

Special reminder: After the sensor is powered on, it needs to warm up for about 20 seconds for the measured data to stabilize. Sensor heating is normal because of the internal heating wire; if it gets too hot to touch, it is abnormal.
