The AS-10 type light-controlled street light automatic switch is a novel photoelectric switch designed and manufactured based on the photoelectric conversion characteristics of semiconductor components. It mainly consists of a sealed CDS photoresistor and an integrated circuit. At dusk and dawn, it automatically controls the on and off of the street light according to changes in natural light, thus achieving automatic street light control and energy saving. It can be easily installed on wooden, metal, and concrete poles using brackets and can operate in any weather conditions. Due to its novel design, reliable installation, small size, light weight, easy installation, long service life, and low price, it is widely used in streetlights, highways, factories, gardens, ports, airports, farms, parks, schools, and other places. A brief description of streetlights in general factories, schools, streets, and navigation lights on islands in water: During the day, staff turn off the lights and turn them back on at night. This often leads to delayed switching on or off, which not only wastes electricity but also affects work.
Working Principle and Structure
The circuit incorporates a delay circuit to prevent accidental on/off switching due to lightning strikes, flashlights, car lights, or other sources of light hitting the photoelectric head, or brief obstruction of the light source by falling leaves. The automatic street light switch consists of a power-off switching device (i.e., a power-off photoelectric head integrated circuit), electronic components, and an actuator relay. During the day, when sunlight is strong, the current in the photosensitive element increases, causing the relay in the integrated circuit to release, and the street light turns off. As darkness falls in the evening, the voltage generated by the photosensitive element decreases due to reduced light, causing the relay to engage and the street light to turn on until the next morning. When the light intensifies, the integrated trigger automatically activates again, turning the street light off.
Installation Precautions
1. Do not install this device in places that are particularly dark during the day or in places directly exposed to normally closed lights.
2. Connect the white and black wires of the automatic switch to the power supply, and the white and red wires to the load.
